White Peach Sangria
White Peach Sangria
One of the bright sides of social distancing is being able to experiment in the kitchen, and beverage recipes are a great way to relax and unwind from all the stress. I'm sharing this white peach sangria recipe that Josh and I created as our signature cocktail for our date night in together.
The date night challenge was to create a signature cocktail that best represents you as a couple. We both enjoy a glass of wine, I'm a big fan of everything sweet and fruity, and Josh likes refreshing drinks (mojitos), so I gave him the mint garnish ;).

For this drink, think about your favorite juice cleanse, take out all the good and healthy ingredients, and substitute in all the fun and tasty stuff. What I like about this sangria is the texture of it, it's a cross between a frosé and a traditional sangria. By puréeing the fruit, you get the added benefit of not having to wait overnight for the fruit to infuse with the wine. It's ready to drink when made. Simple, easy, and delicious.

3 Simple Ingredients

Ingredients

1 Bottle of White Wine (I used a Peach White, a Pinot Grigio would make a good option as well)
16oz bag of Frozen Mixed Fruit (I used frozen due to the limitations at the grocery store right now, but fresh fruit would be ideal)
1/2 cup of Peach Schnapps

Directions

1. Pour wine into your pitcher.
2. Pour Peach Schnapps into the pitcher.
3. Put thawed mixed fruit into a purée machine and purée it.
4. Put puréed fruit in the pitcher and stir well.
5. Serve in a glass and garnish with mint.

Until next time,
XO Katherine
