I've always enjoyed the tradition of decorating Easter eggs. Now being older, I love using pressed flowers. It offers the nostalgia of decorating eggs while being feminine and not feeling too young. Not to mention, it's easy to do! Start with pressed flowers. I picked a few flowers from my garden, laid them inside folded parchment paper, put books on top of it for weight, and left them alone for 5 days.
Once your flowers are pressed, take a small paintbrush and use it to apply clear glue to the egg. Then apply your flower and press firmly to stick it to the egg. Voila, you have pressed flower eggs! What other Easter traditions are your favorite? Be sure to share them below. Until next time, XO Katherine
