A customized peel for pizza is a convenient and decorative gift for pizza lovers. It makes taking that pie out of the oven simple and displays it nicely on the counter until needed creating a more stylish and polished kitchen aesthetic. Making homemade pizza is more manageable than one might think, and it allows for a creative evening cooking together, sometimes we like to make it a contest for the best pizza. A while back, we got a pizza stone to help make our crust crispier but found it challenging to get it off the pizza stone while trying not to burn our hands. Solving this is where the practical gift of a wooden pizza peel comes in handy and is a top idea for the 5th wedding anniversary. While we're still working on transferring the uncooked pizza from the peel to the stone, taking it from the oven to the counter is much easier and better for our hands. When searching for a pizza peel, be sure to check the size and handle length. The average size of a large pizza is 14 inches in diameter, making this 14"x14" version a good fit for me. Our kitchen has an island in front of the oven, making a long handle a less than ideal option for ease of use. Luckily this 6" handle is the perfect size for my layout. I like to add a personal touch to everyday items when possible, so I went with this engraved version for $74. The shop offers six different fonts for the custom phrase. I decided on Evan's Pizza font for this one. I also like that it has the beveled edge to help pick up the pizza. Shop Pizza PaddlesThe shop also offers to make it a matching set. You can add coasters, a serving board, or a pizza cutter, like the one I have photographed above. Just contact them before ordering for a custom listing.
